Purpose of the Role:

Patient Affairs at CAS Role 2 are responsible for coordinating questions, concerns and appointments with program leadership, clinical leadership and the case management team.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting a patient find support.
  • Communicating with doctors, nurses, therapists, and other providers on a patient's behalf. 
  • Communication with an insurance company on a patient's behalf.
  • Explaining things to patients, ranging from medical bills to information on a diagnosis.
  • Helping patients navigate their treatment and care options. 
  • Keeping notes of what happens during medical visits.
  • Ensuring a patient's needs and wishes are met when they can't speak for themselves.
  • Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
  • Performance of other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting.
  • Experience in patient interaction and problem resolution with patient, family and leadership.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience on a military site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.

Other Special Qualifications:

  • On call requirements as part of a rotation if required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance to drive company vehicles.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
  • This position is unaccompanied.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
  • Ability to obtain a DOS mandated clearance one is required.
  • Must be able to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
  • A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.
