Overall Purpose of the Job

The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support to the medical team working out of a clinic setting within an industrial client facility. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for scheduling appointments, conducting client intakes, file maintenance and patient correspondence. 

 

We are presently staffing for a PRN Administrative Assistant to provide casual coverage for one of our industrial client sites within the New Albany, OH area. The hours of this position will be Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:20PM. The ideal candidate will be filling in when the Administrative Assistant is unavailable. Candidates must be local and able to commute. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Make appointments for the personnel attending the clinic. 
  • Register personnel visiting the facility for consultation. 
  •  Prepare required files. 
  •  Manage and control the completion and filing of medical records. 
  •  Prepared correspondence and reports. 
  •  Maintain training records. 

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • High School Diploma or equivalent  
     

Required Competencies  

  • Basic computer, clerical, phone etiquette and customer service skills. 
     

Required Work Experience 

  • 1-2 years of experience clerical and/or administrative assistant experience. 
  • Non-DOT drug and alcohol collections experience (preferred) 
     

Required Languages 

  • Excellent written and oral English
