Overall Purpose Of The Job

This role will assist in the organization and development of contractual products and assignments, with a focus on pre-award contractual activities and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep all internally developed tracking mechanisms up to date and provide reminders to team members as appropriate;
  • Assist in developing formal contractual correspondence;
  • Participate as a team member during the proposal development process
    • Track meetings and deadlines required
    • Responsible for reviewing and executing TAs, MOUs, and NDAs in support of new business opportunities
    • Assist in reviewing proposals for completeness and compliance
    • Assist in negotiating proposal rates and terms
  • Maintain comprehensive subcontract/procurement electronic and hard copy files in accordance with company policies, procedures and Federal Regulations;
  • Responsible for pre-award activities in support of new business opportunities including RFP review including proposed terms and conditions, identifying potential areas of risk, identifying and vetting new suppliers, preparation of SB subcontracting plan when required, and contract handover when business is awarded
  • Assist in the development of process improvements for contract and subcontract management;
  • Assist with problem resolution and provide guidance to program management as required;
  • Assist with prime contract invoicing and tracking;
  • Conduct internal reviews against company policies and procedures;

Other special duties as assigned.


  • 5-7 years experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation or Defense contract knowledge. 
  • BS or equivalent education and experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Understands contractual language
  • Professional certification desired but not required


Foreign language preferred but not required.

Must be willing to travel 10% of the time.
