About The Role

The Charge position/Clinical Lead is responsible for the smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic. Delegates assignments and provides supervision for the support staff in accordance with their level of training and the patients acuity. Works, in cooperation with medical providers to ensure the quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Makes an assignment according to the needs of the patient and the capabilities of the staff.
  • Insures standards of patient care through QA monitors.
  • Develops and posts work schedule within time frame.
  • Calculates timecards and monitor’s staff.
  • Provides direct patient care as needed.
  • Assigns lunches and breaks for the staff.
  • Anticipates physician needs.
  • Communicates problems involving personnel, medical staff, patients, families, and the public to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Schedules staff meetings on a regular basis.
  • Completes annual performance evaluations on staff.

The following positions are to be supervised directly by the incumbent; however, this may be subject to change in line with changing business needs.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, from approved program.
  • Current license to practice in any US State.
  • Minimum of 5 years fulltime experience in a medical care setting as a medical professional.
  • Minimum of 2 years fulltime experience as a Charge / Leadership.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.
