  • Work 3-4 shifts/fortnight on a 7-day rotating roster between 7am-10pm (12hr shift)

Triage & provide telephonic clinical advice to global clients within an office-based setting with a strong team culture promoting work life balance

The Role

As a part of our nursing-led team, you will play a crucial role in providing medical support to an international client base. Key duties: 

  • Delivering front line telephonic triage for a global client base
  • Providing medical advice, assessment, support and recommendations by speaking directly to patients and clients in international settings
  • Liaising with international medical professionals to obtain medical assessments for patients who are hospitalised or being treated overseas.
  • Assessing standards of care and providing guidance on travel following illness or injury
  • Arranging medical evacuations and repatriations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital nursing as a registered nurse.
  • Australian Nursing Registration without any conditions is a must-have requirement.
  • Experience in either Paediatrics, Midwifery, Emergency, Critical Care, RN Paramedic, GP Nurse, Travel Health, Occupational Health, Rural/Remote Nursing, Cruise Ships, or Military nursing is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Must hold full working rights in Australia
