Staffed by a network of medical, security, aviation, and logistics specialists, we prepare customers before departure, assist them while abroad, and provide assistance whenever they have a question or concern.
About the role
Play a vital role in safeguarding patient outcomes worldwide as part of our global medical team. This permanent opportunity empowers an experienced Medical Officer to deliver high-quality clinical support as part of a multi-disciplinary team in time-critical and complex environments, from medical evacuations to assisting patients abroad.
- Provide telephone medical consultations to patients, assessing needs and determining appropriate care pathways.
- Lead clinical decision-making during retrievals, evacuations, and the transfer of patients requiring ongoing care.
- Review medical reports to evaluate treatment appropriateness, identify pre-existing conditions, and complete accurate documentation within required timeframe.
- Support a diverse client base in remote and regional settings, adapting care delivery to varied and challenging environments.
- Liaise with commercial airline medical departments to facilitate safe passenger clearance for travel.
Working Structure:
- Extensive structured training and induction provided
- Work up to 7 shifts/fortnight on a 7-day rotating roster between 7am-10pm
- Open to both Full-time and Part-time (0.6 FTE) applications
About you
- Full working rights in Australia
- Able to commute and work in our Sydney Office
- Unconditional AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- Proven experience working within emergency and/or primary healthcare settings
- Competent computer skills
- Able to work on a 7-day rotating roster (if full-time)
- Excellent written and oral English language
