About the role

The Group T&D Manager will provide leadership and direction in learning and development solutions, partnering closely with the business in the Asia Pacific region. They will develop a learning culture, ensure organizational readiness, implement leadership development programs, design innovative L&D solutions, and enhance the global L&D curriculum. Additionally, they will measure the impact of learning outcomes and translate them into business metrics to support the Group's growth strategy by developing the necessary skills and capabilities to achieve business objectives and change initiatives

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a learning culture based on business needs and desired outcomes.
  • Ensure organizational readiness by developing key skills and capabilities.
  • Implement consistent leadership development programs.
  • Design innovative and business-relevant L&D solutions.
  • Deliver and enhance the existing global L&D curriculum.
  • Measure the impact of learning outcomes and translate them into business metrics.
  • Collaborate with team members across business lines to establish learning objectives and priorities.
  • Create effective partnerships with HR, Talent Acquisition, and key functional stakeholders.
  • Develop functional learning curricula and training modules.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of each business function and form effective relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Assess individual and organizational needs, develop solutions, and evaluate results.
  • Advocate for learning and career development, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage global learning and development programs.
  • Provide support and coaching to key stakeholders
  • Identify gaps between current and desired performance and develop solutions to bridge the gap.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, with an MBA preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CIPD)credential preferred.
  • Well-developed coaching ability-ideally with a recognized coaching qualification.
  • International T&D experience, preferably global, within a complex matrix environment.
  • Proven track record in creating and delivering global Learning & Development frameworks and programs
  • Expertise in digital learning and engagement.
  • Experience in designing and implementing employee development programs.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies, coaching practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to devise and execute career progression plans.
  • Proficiency in coaching and training analytics and metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to partner effectively with senior management
  • Ability to collaborate, co-operate and network effectively within a demanding, culturally diverse, matrix organization.
  • Exceptional communicator in both written and verbal interactions; clear, concise, and courageous seeking feedback and buy in when needed to leaders at all levels.
  • Solutions focused with strong analytical skills and a consultative approach.
