About the role

Provide administrative and technical support on all matters related to Comp & Ben, to the HR Director-Corporate & Singapore Site as well as to projects and objectives.

The scope includes providing support in executing rewards programs, policies and procedures, administrative and back end support on MyHR, MyComp, MyPerformance and all the related HR systems, merit and bonus submission support, reporting, analysis as well as project coordination between global teams and Singapore.

Key responsibilities

Bonus & Merit Management

  • Quarterly Bonus accruals and working with finance and Compliance for internationals SOS for all of Singapore
  • Oversee the MyComp system during the annual bonus review process
  • Manage the global timelines within the Country
  • Benchmark the bonus target against the Market Data once in a year and make proposal to HR Director – Corporate & Singapore Site to review and approve.
  • Perform Compensation Studies on Yearly basis to have an overview of the Country Employee Competitiveness
  • Oversee the MyComp system during the annual merit review process
  • Obtain salary increase trends, GDP and inflation from Mercer to review Country Merit Budget and obtain approval from Management before submitting to Group 

C&B

  • Work on the internal timeline in order to meet the Group C&B timeline submission and communication to Country HR
  • Provide the overview and summary of Annual Merit & Bonus Review exercise
  • Upon approval from Management, send to Group C&B for review and approval
  • Benchmark the benefits review for Singapore to ensure the competitiveness and work on the proposal including cost impact.
  • Work with external suppliers on sourcing salary benchmark data.
  • Ensure that where there is salary banding in place, the data is current and updated, where applicable.
  • Customize spreadsheets, cleanse data outputs into required formats and assist with putting
  • presentations together.
  • Generate reports based on business objectives.
  • Manage regional career bands and levels based on governance policy.

Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities

Facilities and Site Management

  • Responsible for upkeeping, management and negotiation of facilities and site.

About you

  • Completed Tertiary Qualification in any HR discipline, open to undergraduates from Business, Accounting, Humanities, Science with a keen interest to pursue a career in Human Resources. 
  • IT literate and proficient in the usage of contemporary computer software including Microsoft Office. 
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills. 
  • Numerical Skills, analytical ability and solutions focused. 
  • Ability to identify process improvement and efficiencies. 
  • Well organised and meticulous. 
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize. 
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix environment. 
  • Able to communicate at all levels, good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
