About the role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager for MedAire (An International SOS Company), which is the world’s leading travel risk management solution provider which specialized in providing expert medical and security assistance in flight and on the ground
Key responsibilities
- Manage, retain and develop a designated portfolio of business and commercial aviation clients in the region.
- Expand products and services within the designated client portfolio in line with financial and non-financial objectives set.
- Maintain awareness of regional market trends versus our own market share.
- If directed, acquire new clients in the region within designated market segments in line with financial and non-financial objectives set.
- Support senior leadership in the development of Business Plans and periodic account reviews.
- Collaborate with International SOS / MedAire colleagues around the worldd to identify sales opportunities and/or support client development and retention.
- Lead the implementation of new services for existing clients, or the outright implementation of new clients, to ensure that all administrative, operational and financial activities are in place to ensure high levels of service in MedAire clients.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to administrative and financial activities required in respect of the European client base including but not limited to: renewals; contracting; pricing; invoicing; support of cash collections.
- Assist the Aviation team with events coordination. This will involve coordination with the MedAire marketing function.
- Maintain up to date and accurate data on the company's CRM system (Salesforce) for the designated client base and any allocated prospective clients.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the aviation or aerospace sector.
- Strong understanding of business and/or commercial aviation markets in Asia Pacific.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience of working within the Asia Pacific Region.
- Evidence of extensive networking and strategic sales skills with well-developed influencing and negotiating abilities.
- Evidence of strategic thinking and planning skills
- Ability to travel within the region (approx. 30–50% travel).
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another Asian language preferred.
