Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Midwife) to work with IHMS on a FIFO basis at an offshore facility to deliver high quality antenatal and post-natal care to the clients.

The Role

In this role you will deliver antenatal and postnatal care for our clients. You will also be responsible to:

• Assess, plan and implement appropriate midwifery management within the scope of a Registered Midwife
• Contribute to antenatal and postnatal health promotion
• Participate in initial and periodic clinical assessment of the mother and baby
• Administer medications and immunisations as prescribed
• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of medical records and compliance with professional standards

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum 3 years’ midwifery experience
• Advanced clinical assessment and management skills
• Current First Aid or BLS certification
• Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
• Full working rights in Australia
