The Role
The Mental Health Nurse will deliver high-quality mental health care in a clinical setting within an Immigration Detention Centre. Key Tasks:
- Deliver comprehensive mental health care tailored to client needs
- Initiate appropriate treatment and referrals during emergency situations
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic care
- Oversee the administration of mental health medications
- Conduct health programs designed to improve mental wellness

Requirements
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current AHPRA registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mental Health Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and crisis management skills
- Current First Aid / BLS certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
