Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver and maintain primary health care services in our clinic based in Northam, WA.

About the role

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of health care services for our clients at the Immigration Detention Centre based in Northam, WA. 

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, plan and implement appropriate health management within the scope of a Registered Nurse
  • Participate in initial and periodic clinical assessment of patients, including Fit to Travel (FTT)
  • Administer medications and immunisations as prescribed
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of medical records and compliance with professional standards

About you

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Primary Health nursing
  • Advanced clinical assessment and management skills
  • Current BLS or First Aid or willing to obtain
  • Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Full working rights in Australia
