Provide administrational support to our clinic at the Immigration Detention Centre in Broadmeadows, VIC. Join a passionate team and use our administration skills to make the difference!

The Role

The Administrator provides day to day administrative support to the Health Service Manager and medical team at the Immigration Detention Centre Clinic.

The main duties will be:

  • To attend to incoming telephone inquiries
  • To arrange and maintain a register of all appointments
  • To provide typing/secretarial support to meetings
  • Photocopying, basic word processing and printing
  • Mail/referral collection, preparing documents and reports
  • To arrange and escort for transport as and when necessary

Requirements

  • Administration and data entry experience ideally gained within the health/medical industry
  • Knowledge of general medical terminology would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge in MS Word MS Excel, Ms Outlook
  • Well organised and time efficient
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Currently hold or willingness to obtain a First Aid certificate
